Maria Marinho is a Portuguese architect based in Auckland, New Zealand. She has studied architecture in Porto and is a registered architect in Portugal.
Living in London for over a decade she had the opportunity to work with prestigious design practices such as Anouska Hempel Design, Brinkworth, Universal Design Studio and Jackdaw Studio.
Some of her vast portfolio includes the upgrade of the famous boutique-hotel Blakes in London, hight- end residential properties in London and Europe, The Grand Theatre Hotel in Beirut, flagship stores for Mulberry in London and New York, Carhartt stores, retail spaces for Selfridges and Harrods Department Stores in London and also Dubai Mall. The portfolio also includes several workspaces for creative industries also in London.
In Melbourne she had the opportunity to work for Brownlow Design in high-end residences and the upgrade of St Catherine’s School in Toorak.
Having recently moved to Auckland, New Zealand she is now embracing her dream of running her own design studio.
