This listed villa is located in Devonport. The bones of this house were exquisite and beautifully balanced.

To create this family home there was the usual challenge of honouring the building and answering the numerous needs of modern-day life. Challenges like this are stimulating - enhancing the original details were key to holding the home’s beauty.

A light pattern was selected - one colour through each room allows a play of light and shadow. The furniture throughout is a combination of antiques, bespoke and contemporary items. The pieces have a strong elegant and simple design. Alternating between different styles and periods, this house reveals the owners’ life stories and love for art.
