Conceptual work

The idea for this project was to create an ‘urban loft’ that retains the rawness of the concrete floors, yet encompasses a complete feeling of comfort.

When extending the existing formal villa to fit a more contemporary way of living, the goal was to achieve a harmonious entity despite the fact that both parts were built in a different era.

The material selection includes grey tones of metal and concrete. Stained black wood helps create depth and relates with the furniture elements and art.

A combination of iconic and bespoke furniture and natural linen upholstery creates a simple and cohesive whole.
